Roger I thought what could write about all the things I liked about him, a list would just be to long so I'm just going to say what a great unique guy he truly was and along with many others I will sorely miss him, Mondays will never be same rest in peace my friend Alan.

My brother Rog, the artistic one of the family. Always remember our mum proudly displaying his paintings on the walls around the house. He even painted a great big flower on the doors of his old Ford popular! You put up a brave fight bruv and will be sorely missed. Lots of love. Terence

Roger and I shared a big old mahogany double bed for about 6 years and it was always a race to see who got in first. Roger always won because he was bigger than me! I wanted to be first to avoid him pinching my bottom as I got in, which he always did even when I thought I’d jumped in too quickly for him! Growing up with him was full of fun and laughs, like the time we came back from the swamp in Kinson with a bucket of frogs and toads. We had to go to church that evening and left the bucket in the kitchen without Mum knowing. Our parents were not happy when we all arrived back from church to find escaped frogs and toads jumping all round the kitchen! I didn’t stop waking up at 3.00am on Xmas mornings until in my 50s because of the excitement engendered in me by Roger and I always waking and creeping downstairs to see our presents - before Dad came down to chase us back to bed! I will always have some great memories thanks to Roger. I can’t believe he’s left us, a lovely man and a great brother who will leave a huge gap in many lives.
